I strive to create timeless work with strong visual order, effective typographic details, and a forward-looking point of view.
Whether it’s a website or a book, I love taking complex ideas and distilling them into intelligent, approachable, and straightforward solutions. I believe in a human-centered approach to my work and enjoy collaborating with organizations with purpose to create positive social impact.
I also love creative hobbies, learning new things, and the history and craft of letterpress printing. On the weekends, you can usually find me baking, taking a class (yoga, floral design, improv, sewing...), or making things at a print studio.
I’m currently a Senior Designer at Ashton Design and an adjunct professor at Maryland Institute College of Art, where I teach design and typography.
I hold an MFA in Graphic Design from Maryland Institute College of Art and a BS in Visual Communication Design from The Ohio State University. I live in a painted lady in Baltimore with my husband, Will.
